Christmas is around the corner and New Year’s is drawing near, making it time for the New Year, New Movies programming event on Hallmark Channel. The feel-good network has shared details of the new, original movie, Love on the Right Course, starring Ashley Newbrough and Marcus Rosner. Love on the Right Course on Hallmark Channel

According to Hallmark’s official synopsis, Whitney (Newbrough) is a professional golfer, struggling to qualify for her next tournament in Europe. Meanwhile, she is concerned that she might not be able to continue competing on a professional level. She decides to return to Budapest and the golf course owned by her family to reevaluate her career.

However, on arrival in the country, she discovers that her father (Roy McCrerey) has turned into a recluse following the loss of his wife two years ago.

It turns out he has handed over the day-to-day operations of the golf club to the laid-back, new golf pro, Daniel (Rosner). Meanwhile, Daniel’s casual style is at odds with Whitney’s and this throws her off her game. 

However, as the pair gets to know each other, their perspectives change and a romance develops. Moreover, this romance is in danger after Whitney’s former trainer returns and pushes Daniel out. Due to this, she might just lose her best shot at love.

Ashley Newbrough, who plays Whitney is known for her roles in The Love Club and Flipping for Christmas. She leads opposite Marcus Rosner as Daniel who has previously starred in Notes of Autumn and Flipping for Christmas. The role of Whitney’s father, Marton Béla, is played by Roy McCrerey of Blood & Gold fame.

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, Brittany Bristow plays an uncredited role and has previously been seen in Holidate and Kiss and Cry. Moreover, Steve Byers is also uncredited in the cast list and is known for his roles in Total Recall and Flatliners.

Meanwhile, Adam Boncz plays Laszlo Gabas and has previously starred in Shadow and Bone and Halo, while Katalin Ruzsik, who plays Zsuzsanna, is known for her roles in FBI; International and Lee.
