Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has announced a new, original mystery movie set at a Paris fashion show. Titled Crimes of Fashion: Killer Clutch, the movie stars Brooke D’Orsay and Gilles Marini in a story of a murder on the runway. According to the official synopsis, a glitzy and glamorous Paris fashion show takes a killer turn when someone winds up dead. It tells the story of Lauren (Brooke D’Orsay) is a leading psychologist who lands a dream job as a performance coach at the Paris-based House of Trésor, an iconic fashion brand run by Virgil St. James (François Legrand), a famous fashion designer.

With the help of Lauren’s calming techniques, Virgil’s Paris Fashion Week show is a success. However, the applause of the audience is interrupted by screams, when Charlotte (Paloma Coquant), Lauren’s best friend, is discovered behind the catwalk, standing over the dead body of Trésor’s business manager.

As Lauren uses her expert skills to investigate the case, with the help of André Duvreuil (Gilles Marini), an alluring but guarded French detective, the duo uncover a counterfeit handbag ring and a growing list of fashionable suspects.

Brooke D’Orsay, who plays the role of Lauren is known for her roles in A Not So Royal Christmas and A Fabled Holiday. Meanwhile, Gilles Marini, who plays André Duvreuil has previously starred in Days of Our Lives and Switched at Birth. François Legrand plays the role of Virgil St-James and has previously starred in Un Destin Inattendu and Not a Word. Paloma Coquant stars as Charlotte and is known for her roles in It’s Gonna Be Okay.

According to the IMDb page, other cast members include David Bowles (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and The Letter for the King) as Ari Singh, Mohamed Belhadjine (Asteroid City and The French Dispatch) as Théo and Harry Szovik (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and The Fear Index) as Ross Chau. Meanwhile, Alain Van Goethem (Kassablanka and The Ludwigs) plays Riccardo Dolce and Martin Budny (Cold War and Dark Angel) is in the role of Patrick.

Meanwhile, Ferenc Pusztai is a producer and Felipe Rodriguez directs the movie from a script penned by Tome McCurrie and Stephanie Sourapas.
