Candace Cameron Bure announced that she just finished filming her tenth Hallmark Christmas movie. This upcoming one is called A Christmas Contest. Her co-star is her Fuller House co-star, John Brotherton. This is a huge plus for #TeamMatt fans.

Candace Cameron Bure went to Instagram to announce that she has completed her tenth Hallmark Christmas movie. She was pretty excited about this milestone. She is very happy about this movie, and it sounds like it is her favorite.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – CCB’s A Christmas Contest Co-Star Is John Brotherton

Although CCB was very careful about revealing any details about A Christmas Contest, everyone wanted to know who her co-star was. Pretty soon, it became inevitable that her Fuller House co-star, John Brotherton, was her leading man in this Hallmark movie.

Back on September 22, Candace Cameron Bure wrote on her Instagram, letting fans know that they were right. “Cat’s out of the bag! @johnbrotherton and I are together again! If you were #TeamMatt on Fuller House, you’re not going to want to miss our new Christmas movie 🎄! A Christmas Contest will air this holiday season on @hallmarkchannel. Once again, developed and produced by the incomparable @jimheadjr (this marks our 20th movie producing together) and me!”

Earlier in the week, she shared some photos to give fans a hint. One, has John and CCB in sumptuous Victorian garb, like Christmas carolers from days of old. The other photos are from their movie poster photoshoot. CCB is wearing a Christmas green one-shoulder knockout dress!

Hallmark Spoilers – What Is Candace Cameron Bure’s Favorite Christmas Movie?

Candace Cameron Bure fans all have their favorite Hallmark Christmas movie. CCB has her own favs. Previous to filming A Christmas Contest, she told US Magazine that the Christmas movie that she would love to do a sequel to is A Shoe Addict’s Christmas. She co-starred with Jean Smart and Luke Macfarlane.

CCB explained her reasons why, “I would do A Shoe Addict’s Christmas 2, for sure. Just at the chance to work with Jean Smart. But that was so funny, she’s like my little fairy godmother, so that would be a good one.” Candace clearly loved to work with Smart, and loved to laugh.

Her favorite leading man? Her If I Only Had Christmas co-star, Warren Christie. She explained her choice, and it has to do with laughing again. “Let me start thinking of all my leading men. I do have to say that [I have] a couple of funny ones. Warren Christie who was in my movie from last year, I loved working with him, and we do have another movie plan that we’re going to work together again. That’s how great it was.”

Based on the photos from A Christmas Contest, it looks like Warren may have a lot of on-screen competition with John Brotherton. A Christmas Contest will air sometime in November, on the Hallmark Channel.
