Chesapeake Shores Returns To Hallmark Channel This Summer

Hallmark Channel spoilers reveal that Chesapeake Shores is canceled, but there is actually some good news for fans. The announcement of the show being canceled happened last month and fans were very upset about it. There is still one more season on the way for Hallmark fans and this will be the sixth season and will come to us this summer. This is based on the novels by Sherryl Woods and fans have really started to love it and that is why they were so upset about the cancellation.

The network knows how much fans loved the show and they made a statement about the cancellation to their fans. They wrote, “With a top-notch ensemble cast and creative team, Chesapeake Shores has shared stories that are relatable, poignant, and unforgettable. We look forward to honoring the journey viewers have been on with the O’Briens with one final, special season.”

The show began back in 2016 and will have a total of 55 episodes when it ends. Fans grew to love the bed and breakfast that the O’Brien family runs and were happy to see stars such as Laci J. Mailey, Meghan Ory, Jesse Metcalf, Barbara Niven, Treat Williams, and Diane Ladd make appearances. It is very hard to say goodbye to it, but with one more season coming, we all have something to look forward to!

Hallmark Channel News – The Final Season

In this final season, we will see a businessman come to town to try and start a new business in the area. He will be played by Robert Buckely and his character, Evan Kincaid, is bound to stir things up for the O’Briens. Will this end well or with a lot of tension and conflict?

Fans were upset to find out that this show was on the chopping block, but Hallmark has told its loyal followers that there is so much more in store for them as the seasons change and they start anew.
