Sly James the Cat, aged 7, has captured the hearts of local Chiefs fans by being dressed up as the team’s star quarterback Patrick Mahomes by his owner, teacher Brandy Peed.

The feline sensation, who is a hit on social media, is considered a good luck charm as he dons his game day outfit for every match.

According to Peed, missing out on dressing up Sly James has resulted in losses for the team, making it almost a superstition to ensure he is dressed up.

The duo always goes all out for Super Bowls to show their support. What a paws-itively adorable idea to dress up the cute cat!

Hallmark Channel News – Richard Christy Is Also A Cameo Guest

Richard Christy, a native of Kansas City and a personality on The Howard Stern Show, will also be participating in the festivities. The well-known radio personality, who is 50 years old, became a part of Stern’s show in 2004.

His recent comments on the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl XVIII against the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year garnered attention. During a discussion about Travis Kelce’s post-game kiss with Taylor Swift, Christy stated, “They’ve gotta get married. There’s no turning back now.”

Donna Kelce, Hunter King (The Young and The Restless’ former Summer Newman), Tyler Hynes, Jenna Bush Hager, and Catrick were seen filming at Arrowhead Stadium earlier this week.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and players Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and George Karlaftis also joined the cast on the field despite the scorching 100-degree heat on Monday, July 15.

The cast also includes Ed Begley Jr., Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle, and Christine Ebersole.

Hynes expressed on Instagram that this week was truly unique, all thanks to those who showed up in the extreme heat on the field. He extended his gratitude to all those who participated in the movie or discussed it, and the local talents for filling the stadium and bringing a special energy.

Tyler continued his thanks, saying the week was warm, and it wasn’t just because of the temperature. The actor, aged 38, also expressed his gratitude to Mama Kelce for the wonderful photos and for helping him slip a note into her son’s locker.

The film centers around Alana Higman (King), as she enrolls her family in a Chiefs Fan of the Year competition and encounters Derrick (Hynes), the team’s fan engagement director.

Of course, leading to a romantic connection since this is Hallmark! Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is set to premiere in November as a part of Hallmark Channel’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas event.
