Good News For The Way Home Fans From Hallmark Channel

Hallmark’s multigenerational time travel series, The Way Home, has captured many fans’ attention, especially after season 3 has recently aired.

While fans of the show have been waiting impatiently for news of season 4, it’s finally time to get excited as Hallmark Channel has officially renewed the show for its fourth season.

The Way Home was renewed by Hallmark for season 4

Recently, fans have been waiting for news of the fourth season of The Way Home. What didn’t help was when Hallmark moved the time travel series to its streaming channel before then moving it back to the OG, but on Friday nights. This led to dedicated fans starting petitions and calling out on social media to let the feel-good channel know they want more.

Finally, Deadline has reported the good news that The Way Home has, indeed, been renewed for season 4. Moreover, Hallmark shared a video on its Instagram account revealing Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh and more, announcing the good news. Readers can watch the video here.

Their carefully crafted storytelling has enthralled the show’s passionate fanbase and has made The Way Home appointment television.

It has been a wait for fans as last year, Hallmark decided to premiere season 3 on the newly revamped streaming channel, Hallmark+. At that stage, they had no plans to air it on the OG until late summer.

Meanwhile, this revealed spoilers for those fans who cannot afford streaming. Naturally, fans were not impressed when, while the network always premiered the show in January, they decided to premiere When Calls the Heart in its place and timeslot. Reportedly, the move was to add more content to Hallmark+.

However, the feel-good network did back down, but they moved the time travel drama to Friday nights, which didn’t attract good ratings. This led fans to fear that, as the ratings were similar to Ride, the show might not continue.

However, the show has always done well on Peacock and apparently, also on Hallmark+, as new episodes are streamed the following day.

When will season 4 of The Way Home premiere?

While the news of season 4 is great, fans will have to wait a while, as it is set to premiere at some time in 2026. However, the cast is on its way to Ontario in the near future to film the next season of The Way Home.
