Good Witch Season 7 Fans Seem Disappointed With The Show

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8 didn’t air last week, so it comes along again on July 11. Hallmark dropped a poster and a teaser for the new episode, but not everyone jumped for joy. In fact, some of them seem totally disappointed with the show this season. Of course, lots of people still enjoy watching, but it’s always an interesting gauge of the ratings to come when fans complain about shows.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8 Airs July 11

The synopsis for Episode 8 is titled “the Sprint.” Fans should expect to see Abigail fight back and Joy harper faces her fears about Zoey. Meanwhile, Sam Radford and Cassie Nightingale argue about returning to work. While the episode sounds jampacked with stuff, not everyone looks forward to it. Abigail’s business faces some competition and she fights back. Injured Sam wants to return to work but Cassie hassles him about it. Meanwhile, Martha Tinsdale prepares a surprise party. For some fans that all sounds like a huge yawn.

In the previous episode on Good Witch Season 7, some fans also thought it a bit boring. They watched Cassie show Sam some rather inept magic tricks. Then he reciprocated and showed her some as well.  When he tried a difficult one, it worked perfectly, and his sister seemed impressed. Actually, it’s really not all that rivetting for some fans who spoke their minds on Hallmark’s Instagram on Wednesday, July 7.

One fan who commented about good Witch Season 7 said, “The most boring season ever!” That critic certainty isn’t alone in holding that opinion. Another one agreed. They wrote, “I feel it’s [the] most boring season yet. Missing Grace & Nick. Sam & Cassie are boring. No guests at Gray House 😢. They also noted that “Joy brings nothing to the show.” Plus, “Stephanie & Adam have a stupid story line.” Not done yet, the fan wrote, “Martha is ridiculously over the top! George is always good!” Vaguely in praise of Abigail, they ended with, “Abigail & Donovan are cute.”

Good Witch Season Spoilers – Other Fans Agree That Boring Describes The Show

Other Good Witch Season 7 fans who chimed in agreed in the replies. One of them noted, “You nailed it!!! I agree with every single thing you said!!” Meanwhile, in defense of it, others pointed out that with COVID-19 they were limited so at least they brought a bit more magic than usual.

You should write about how disgustingly homophobic the fans have been especially on Facebook and that is why they didn't like this season because they introduced the first LGBTQ+ Couple.

No one is homophobic. The show has been altered in several ways, so that it no longer resembles the original format, or has the original charm.

What does the Q stand for?

I agree the show has become boring. It’s appeal was the magical mysteries of the guests of Gray house and the lead actors then you add new characters and add their boring storyline which have nothing to do with the witch theme. Hallmark has lost their way.

Yes. I enjoyed it until they brought in the character who is a lesbian to one of the cousins….and has absolutely nothing to do with the originality of the series!

I have been a big fan of the show in the past but this season has been more than boring. Can't the writers see that.
I was hoping they would get their writing together before they were canceled. I guess it is to late now.

I think Good Witch has suffered in part because it followed the horrible season of WCTH! As someone said, hallmark has lost it’s way!

uestas a family show when it started was good, not now with the gays

When it first started Good Witch was a great show to watch. This season…. not so much. I have to agree with the over done boring story lines. Cancelling the show seems to be the only way to go!
Why does Hallmark have to continually put LGBT in their shows and movies?? Sometimes Hallmark isn't fun to watch anymore!!!!

Season 7 of good witch was boring, annoying and often absurd. Huge fail.

The gay relationship was sweet and well-done, in my opinion. It was the only light in an otherwise boring script with tormented characters. The nasty, childishness of sam, the chronic melancholy of cassie and the pathetic neediness of stephanie, gave me an eye twitch by episode 5. The season was tortuous for long time fans. Thank God it's over and what a shame it ended so poorly.

A while ago, I discovered the Good Witch movies first! Then I did a binge watch of all the Netflix Seasons 1-5. Loved, Loved it, it felt homey and comfortable! The core group of actors and Grey House with the little bit of magical music throughout each episode, I just loved watching each show. Especially, got into the Fall Season when I was watching some of the old episodes. But then I read a new group of writers came on board and Season 6 & 7 were just to goofy to believe, and spoiled the whole magic of the show! Too many new characters, the guitar playing by Sam was "jumping the shark"! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"! I still watched Season 6 & 7 and it just wasn't the same and found myself rolling my eyes a bit. It's a shame, I want the old Good Witch Back!!!
