The Good Witch’s Season 5 Episode 8, airing on Sunday August 4 on Hallmark Channel, kicks off with Grace Russell (Bailey Madison).  She meets Luke (Dale Whibley) at the school and asks what he is doing there. Luke tells Grace he was asked to keep tabs on the Davenport Merrywick curse.

Good Witch – Grace Is Upset With Luke

Grace runs off and goes home to speak to her mom about the incident. Sam Radford tries to comfort her. Grace visits Abigail Pershing (Sarah Power) to give her information about Luke. Luke later stops by to speak to Grace, who wants nothing to do with him. Sam asks Luke if the guilt got to him, Luke says Grace did, and he wants her to know she inspired him to do right.

Good Witch Spoilers – Cassie Is Intrigued

The Good Witch’s Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) comes downstairs to find Sam Radford (James Denton) making her breakfast in bed. Cassie finds out that Sam had plans to make great discoveries when he was younger. Cassie is intrigued by Sam’s yearbook photo and goal.

Hallmark Channel Good Witch News – Abby Breaks Up With Donovan

The Good Witch’s Donovan Davenport (Marc Bendavid) asks Abigail Pershing (Sarah Power) to a fundraiser. They speak about him running for governor. Donovan’s mother informs Abigail that she could cost Donovan the governor’s race. Grace helps Abigail get ready for the fundraiser. Abigail gets a call from Sam saying Donovan was in a motorcycle accident. Donovan wants to be released from the hospital, Sam refuses. Dotty Davenport wants Abigail to stay away from Donovan because of the curse. Abigail calls things off with Donovan to keep him safe.

Good Witch News – Martha Clashes With Dottie

The Good Witch’s Martha Tinsdale (Catherine Disher) finds the original town charter. Martha believes Abigail should be excited by this find. Martha goes to visit Dottie, and they argue over the homecoming race. Martha tells Dottie her mole is fired. Martha works on her speech, and Cassie offers her advice. Martha makes her speech to the crowd. Martha tells everything that the search is what is important so they can learn to celebrate everything around them. Fireworks are set off to celebrate founders day.

Good Witch Recap – A Treasure Hunt

The Good Witch’s Natalie arrives and meets Cassie and Vincent. Martha joins them and says the town treasure needs to be located in the next twenty-four hours. Natalie and Vincent put their heads together to find the treasure. Natalie sends Vincent to look for treasure while she conducts an interview.

Vincent finds Natalie at the sundial and tries to find the treasure from there. Sam later joins Vincent, and they try to figure out the charter. The coordinates are found on a stain glass window that leads them to the wishing well. The treasure is just a box of sand. Vincent expected Natalie to be more disappointed, but she says she found something better than the treasure. Vincent returns Natalie’s diary and offers to take her on his boat. Cassie and Sam say goodbye to Natalie and Vincent. Martha joins them with the charter. Sam looks at the charter and finds a key in the scroll.

Good Witch – The Food Truck Launch

The Good Witch’s Adam Hawkins (Scott Cavalheiro) and Stephanie Borden (Kylee Evans) are having a contest that will decide the Bistro’s signature sandwich. Cassie finds herself as a judge in the sandwich contest. Cassie suggests they combine the sandwiches into one and serve them. Luke later goes to the food truck where he meets up with Grace, and they both try the signature sandwich.
