Hallmark Announces Brief Super Bowl Hiatus For “The Way Home” Season 2

Many people are gearing up for this Sunday’s Super Bowl. Even those who aren’t regular football fans often tune into the big event, whether it’s because they’ve been invited to a party or just to check out the half-time show. As such, it makes it no surprise that Hallmark had decided to skip an episode of The Way Home.

“The Way Home” Fans Will Have To Wait

The Way Home series is well into its second season on the Hallmark Channel, as the premiere took place on Sunday, January 21 of this year.

Still, while a brand-new episode did air on Sunday, February 4, fans will have to wait for the next new show for two weeks.

The channel has decided to postpone the next epi because of this weekend’s Super Bowl. As such, the next new The Way Home for season 2 will air on Sunday, February 18.

“The Way Home” – It’ll Be Worth The Wait

It makes sense as to why the show and Hallmark are doing this. On the one hand, there will be fans who don’t watch the Super Bowl who might be disappointed about the postponement.

However, many viewers may be happy that they won’t have to choose between one of their favorite shows and one of their favorite sporting events.

Still, fans can get excited about what’s to come. The synopsis for The Way Home, season 2, episode 4 goes as follows: Alice will re-evaluate the past, as well as her friendship with Elliott, while Kat finds out that “history” is written by the winners, and Del questions the stories she tells herself.

Looks like a good episode is on the horizon, and it’ll be interesting to see Alice get the chance to bond with Elliot in a different time period. What will be the aftermath of this all?

Fans will have to tune in to find out! The good news is there likely won’t be many more hiatuses after the Super Bowl, so viewers will enjoy their weekly fix of The Way Home for the rest of season 2, with fresh new episodes each Sunday.
