Hallmark Channel News – Drops Aurora Teagarden Mysteries Movie Series
In the most recent movie in the Aurora Teagarden franchise, fans were thrilled to see Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter playing her as a teen. It looked like the movie series was definitely going to continue for some time. However, as noted by TV Insider, this is not to be after Bure left Hallmark and inked a major deal with GAC Family.
Fans will remember that Bure played the titular Aurora Teagarden in the series. Meanwhile, the popular Full House alum has starred in 29 movies for Hallmark Channel. However, in the future, she will not be appearing in any movies for Crown Media and the Hallmark Channel.
As noted by Variety, Bure inked a “mega-deal” with GAC Media and will not only be starring in various projects for GAC Family and GAC Living. It turns out she will also develop and produce movies from now on. This gives Candace an executive role with GAC, while producing original content through her own production company, Candy Rock Entertainment.
Hallmark Channel News – Cameron Candace Bure’s Deal Is Not Exclusive
Meanwhile, Variety did not that Bure’s deal is not exclusive. However, she won’t be starring in any holiday movies for other networks, at least during the 2022-2023 TV season.
There seems to be no bad blood on Hallmark’s side. In fact, a Crown Media spokesperson told Variety how much they had enjoyed more than 10 years of collaboration with Candace.
“We respect her decision and thank her for her many contributions.”
Meanwhile, on Bure’s side, she released a statement in which she expressed her excitement for joining the GAC family. She said she is very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories she and her family love to watch.
“I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose,” Candace said, adding, “GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family. Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about.”
