Hallmark Channel Casts Sadie Laflamme-Snow In The Way Home

Hallmark snagged some excellent people for The Way Home, including Grey’s Anatomy star, Chyler Leigh. Well, the news arrived this week, that Sadie Laflamme-Snow also appears in the movie that’s expected to premiere next year. The series was greenlit in May this year, and it follows three generations of women in the Landry family. Sadie, it turns out, will be the youngest.

Hallmark Channel News – Puts Sadie Laflamme-Snow Close To Chyler Leigh

When the news arrived that Chyler Leigh would act in the new movie, Grey’s Anatomy fans were really happy. Recall, she acted as Dr. Lexie Grey. Sadly, she ended her run in the ABC show when her character was killed off in Season 8. It came when she and Dr. Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) had a plane crash. In the new primetime movie, Leigh will act the role of Kat Landry. 

Estranged from her mom, Del (MacDowell), Chyler (Kat) is the second generation. And now, it turns out that her daughter, Alice will be played by Sadie Laflamme-Snow in the Hallmark movie. So far, the movie spoilers reveal that the focus is on Kat returning to the family farm after she gets a letter from her mom. But, Alice has some issues with it. At the age of 15, that’s hardly surprising. Anyway, it seems that when all three generations get together, they find a way to heal from the past.

Hallmark Channel News – Sadie Laflamme-Snow Is A Toronto-Based Actress

It’s not going to be Sadie’s first time in front of the camera. Deadline reminds movie fans that she played “a lead role in the independent feature Cascade and a starring role in the upcoming season of the series Slasher for Shudder.” In fact, she has potential as after she graduated from  the National Theatre School of Canada, she “was selected as a finalist for WBTV’s Actors in Training Program.”

Of course, she also filmed for The Apprentice. The Indian Canadian actress seems rather private and steers clear of social media platforms. So, not much is known about her private life. But, the way things are going with her career, fans are likely to get to know her a lot better. Hallmark execs seem delighted with her being chosen for the role of Alice in The Way Home.

Hallmark Channel News – Laurie Ferneau thinks She’s Perfect For The Part

In a statement, Laurie Ferneau, a Senior Vice President for Hallmark Media said, “In [Sadie], we’ve found the perfect complement to Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh.” Well, at the end of the day, the fans who tune in to watch the movei will no doubt give their feedback on that. Still, it seems nice that the young actress seems to be finding her way in her chosen career.
