Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie Battle

Hallmark Channel spoilers reveal that the Christmas movie battles have started on various television networks. Christmas talent is everywhere and one of the most talented actors for the network is Trevor Donovan. He has appeared in many Christmas shows and movies for the Hallmark Channel and it looks like he is gearing up to do even more! He is a hot ticket in these films, so there may be some competition.

Donovan, who generally does one big Christmas movie a year, just appeared in the Hallmark Channel film, Nantucket Noel and then appeared on GAC Family in Jingle Bell Princess. This network is now owned by the former Hallmark boss and they have started to recruit talent from other family-friendly networks, such as Hallmark Channel.

From what Donovan’s agent told the press, he will only appear in Christmas movies for GAC Family next year. He said it got very confusing doing both this year. That being said, it looks like GAC Family and Hallmark Channel are trying to get the biggest stars to appear in their Christmas films this year.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Big Stars Equals Big Ratings

Both Hallmark Channel and GAC Family are recruiting the biggest stars that they can find to promote their movies and boost ratings. Hallmark Channel actually took a big blow this past month and lost Danica McKellar to GAC Family. She had appeared in seven of the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies.

There were some shocking statistics to come out about the Hallmark Channel and GAC Family. Almost 100% of the lead actors from GAC Family Christmas movies also appeared on the Hallmark Channel first. It looks like this cross-pollenation of stars could change ratings for the networks, but they continue to do it and make holiday films that their viewers love.

GAC will continue to add stars to their rankings including Lori Loughlin, who started in the GAC series When Hope Calls. Bill Abbott from Hallmark Channel will also be joining her as an actor, producer, and director.
