Hallmark Channel New Christmas Movie Boyfriends Of Christmas Past

This latest new movie in Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming event has a touch of Charles Dickens and is titled Boyfriends of Christmas Past. The movie is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Edie Grace and premiere’s on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, October 23. Based on the book of the same name by Edie Grace, Boyfriends of Christmas Past tells the story of marketing executive Lauren (Catherine Haena Kim). Lauren has always appreciated her best friend Nate (Raymond Ablack). Besides this, her father (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) and stepmother (Susan Hanson) have always adored him. Meanwhile, Nate is always there with her favorite gingerbread and hot cocoa to support her.

Lauren tries to also be there for Nate and promises to help him decorate the Christmas tree at the community center where he works. However, at the last minute, her office is tasked with putting together a last-minute pitch for a client by Christmas Eve. Lauren has to back out of her promise to Nate.

She awakens at 2 am that night to a very confusing surprise. She finds a boyfriend she had as a teenager in her apartment and he hasn’t aged at all. Just as he begins to warn Lauren, three more ex-boyfriends suddenly appear. They go on to help her revisit their past Christmases together in an effort to get her to see the pattern in her relationships.

During her journey into Christmases past, Lauren notices that the one person she could always rely on is Nate. However, now in the present, she is too scared to see the love that is right in front of her. Lauren must go on to learn from her past and open her heart, or she may risk losing Nate forever.

Hallmark Channel News – Cast Of Boyfriends Of Christmas Past

Catherine Haena Kim (FBI) plays Lauren to Raymond Ablack’s (Ginny & Georgia, Orphan Black) Nate, while Paul Sun-Hyung Lee stars as Lauren’s father. Lauren’s mother is played by Susan Hanson. The actors playing the four boyfriends are not listed on Hallmark’s page for the movie.
