Hallmark Channel News: 3 New Crossword Mysteries Movies, Lacey Chabert And Brennan Elliott Reunite

Hallmark Channel news reveals that Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott are joining forces again. They won’t just be working together on one more movie, but three! Elliot shared the news on his official Twitter account, but only mentioned two new installments. However, we have found out that there is another one planned, making a total of six movies in the mystery series. So, what is known about the new Hallmark mystery movie projects?

Hallmark Channel News – Crossword Mystery Movies

Hallmark Movies and Mysteries is home to the Crossword Mystery movie series. The first installment was released on March 10, 2019. The storyline revolved around a crossword puzzle editor. Tess Harper (Lacey Chabert) notices that several of her crossword clues are linked to unsolved crimes. It completely unravels her life and she finds herself pulled into Lt. Logan O’Connor’s (Brennan Elliott) police investigation.

As the series progressed, Tess and Logan continued to work together and they even have a blossoming romance.

So far, there are three installments of Crossword Mysteries: A Puzzle To Die For, Proposing Murder and Abracadaver.

Hallmark Channel News – Brennan Elliott Announces 2 New Hallmark Movies

On Twitter, Brennan announced that he was once again being reunited with his Crossword Mysteries co-star. They just aren’t working on one more movie together, though. They are doubling up and working on two brand new projects!

“Heading up north to join my partner in crime @IamLaceyChabert to solve 2 more puzzling crimes! Hoping to bring them to you in the new year!”

Hallmark Channel News – More Movies Coming Up

According to Brennan’s IMDB account, there are not just two new installments of Crossword Mysteries. There are actually three, so expect more announcements to be coming up in the future. Details are under wraps, so no titles have been released yet. By the time these are produced, filmed, and aired, there will be a total of six installments of Crossword Mysteries.

Hallmark Channel News – Lacey Chabert Staying Busy

The Party of Five alum is a familiar face to Hallmark fans. She has starred in numerous movies for the network. She is currently working on Christmas Waltz, which will be added to Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas 2020 programming block.
