During an interview, the Days of Our Lives alum (ex-Sami Brady) discussed the new Blake Shelton-produced movie, Time For You to Come Home for Christmas. About Time For You to Come Home for Christmas

This new film is the sequel to Blake Shelton’s previous holiday film, Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas. It was such a success and of course, nearly everyone loves seasonal flicks, so it was only a matter of time before another installment came out. This Hallmark movie is called Time for You to Come Home for Christmas.

It centers around a widow traveling with her son on a train. While playing Solitaire, a male passenger (Lucas Bryant) starts a conversation with Katherine (Alison Sweeney). The man is a veteran and they open up about their lives, struggles and victories. At first, Katherine doesn’t want to disclose any information. However, the veteran is right when he tells her that as a stranger, there is no judgment and she never has to see him again.

But that is where he is wrong. It turns out that they are headed to the same destination. This is just the beginning of fate working to make sure they cross paths.

Hallmark Channel News: Christmas in August (Literally)

In a video clip posted by E! Online, Sweeney discussed the movie and going to the set each day. For the film to air in December, they had to film it months in advance. The actress explained to Daily Pop that to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, walking on set and going to their trailers was literally like enjoying the holiday season in August.

Working with Blake Shelton

Even though Time For You to Come Home for Christmas is produced by Shelton, he really wasn’t on set a whole lot while Alison was filming. He was working on multiple projects. However, he was still very invested in the film, just to be clear. Scheduling filming with multiple locations, sets and working with several actors, all with their own availability can be tricky. Producers can’t be everywhere at once!

However, Sweeney did say that due to her working on NBC, she has met Blake before. She explained that he is very funny, nice and sweet.
