About Christmas Town

According to the official website for the Hallmark Channel, Christmas Town centers on a woman named Lauren Gabriel (Candace Cameron Bure). She abandons everything in Boston to start on a new journey in her life. Lauren’s goal is interrupted, though. While on the road, she takes an unexpected detour to a charming town called Grandon Falls. While there, she finds out that the detour might have been fate stepping in. The synopsis adds,

“… Grandon Falls has her discover unexpected new chapters – of the heart and of family – helping her to embrace, once again, the magic of Christmas.”

In addition to Bure, the movie also stars Tim Rozon and Beth Broderick. It is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, December 5.

In the preview clip for Christmas Town, Lauren is stunned to find a photo of her father in the town cafe. It almost seems like Father Christmas definitely stepped in to bring her to Grandon Falls. In another scene, she is looking beautiful in a red dress and dances with Rozon’s character. Perhaps Lauren will unexpectedly find love in this quaint little town.

Candace Cameron Bure Teases Holiday Film

In a video clip posted on Hallmark Channel’s official YouTube account, Bure calls Christmas Town an unforgettable holiday film. Flashes of scenes tease that there is a little boy involved, which we are guessing must belong to the mystery man in the movie. There is also some snowman building and lots of other festive, fun holiday activities. This sure seems like a movie that we won’t want to miss!
