Hallmark Channel News: Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings of Joy Starring WCTH Paul Greene Premieres Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend is packed with great Christmas movies from Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. ‘Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy’ starring Paul Green (When Calls the Heart) and Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Shores) is one of the 40 all-new movies debuting during Miracles of Christmas and the 10th Annual Countdown to Christmas.

The all-star cast for this third installment of the ‘Christmas in Evergreen’ original movie franchise includes including Maggie Lawson (Psych), Holly Robinson Peete (Morning Show Mysteries), Jill Wagner (Murder 101), Ashley Williams (Holiday Hearts), and Rukiya Bernard (Van Helsing).

Novelist Katie (Maggi Lawson) meets Ben (Paul Greene) on the train to picturesque Evergreen, where her planned holiday retreat is interrupted by an assignment to write an article about the town.

Katie is initially a bit of a skeptic about the town’s genuine love of Christmas, she finds herself quickly enchanted by both Evergreen and Ben after spending time with him and Evergreen residents Michelle (Holly Robinson Peete), Carol (Barbara Niven), Lisa (Jill Wagner), Hannah (Rukiya Bernard) and – for a short time – Allie (Ashley Williams).

Katie and Ben grow closer while enjoying Evergreen’s Christmas traditions, and even help unearth a long-lost time capsule hidden 50 years ago. Meanwhile, Hannah struggles to confess her true feelings for a long-time friend, and Michelle finds herself happier than ever in her own relationship. As Christmas approaches and Katie’s trip nears an end, Katie, Ben, Michelle, and Hannah all wonder if Evergreen’s holiday magic has something special in store for them.

‘Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings of Joy’ makes its world debut Friday, November 29, 2019 at 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. CT. If you haven’t seen the ‘Christmas in Evergreen,’ the first movie in the series, ‘Christmas in Evergreen,’ Hallmark Channel has an encore showing on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m./1:00 p.m. CT. The second movie in the series, ‘Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa,’ there will be an encore showing Friday, November 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m./3:00 p.m. CT on Hallmark Channel.
