When Calls the Heart Season 7 spoilers continue to speculate, has Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) chosen Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) or Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) as her suitor? Are Hearties Team Lucas or Team Nathan?
A recent Instagram post from Erin gave When Calls the Hearts fans yet another tease about the direction of Lucas and Elizabeth’s courtship. Is sharing a grilled cheese sandwich behind-the-scenes for Chris’s birthday a clue?
There must have been a small break in filming, Erin and Chris are dressed in their period piece wardrobe. Erin captioned the photo:
“There once was a guy called McNally, Who spiced up the town of Hope Valley. He knew he would please, When he shared his grilled cheese, And danced in last season’s finale! Happy Birthday @chrismcnally! We all adore you!”

WCTH co-star Pascale Hutton (Rosemary Coulter) weighed in, commenting “You’re so pleased with yourself over this one aren’t you????” Erin is fond of entertaining fans with riddles, poems, and GIFs, sparking fun comments and interaction between Hearties.
If these behind-the-scenes When Calls the Heart season 7 spoilers are indicating that Lucas will be the next man in Elizabeth’s life following Jack Thornton’s (Daniel Lissing) death, what will become of Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry)?
Nathan visited Brookfield, the fictional town where the WCTH spin-off When Hope Calls for several episodes. The Mountie fit in quite nicely, caught the eye of a few of the Brookfield ladies. Hearties became more and more interested in WHC, Hallmark Movies Now first original series, when Nathan came to town.
As fans see it, Nathan, a very dedicated Mountie, isn’t a good fit for Elizabeth. Having Mountie Jack, the love of her life, in service to their country, Hearties believe that the last thing the schoolteacher needs is another lawman as a husband.

Brookfield warmly welcomed Nathan to the small town. Gabriel Kinslow (RJ Hatanaka) welcomed the help keeping law and order. Lillian Walsh (Morgan Kohan) caught Nathan’s eye, despite her flirtation with Gabriel.
The word-traveled nurse Maggie Parsons (Hanneke Talbot), is interested in Joe Moody (Jefferson Brown), but the duo might make better friends. Nathan’s past is a slowly unfolding mystery, as is Maggie’s. The two would make for an interesting couple.
Lucas has been, shall we say, a little more aggressive in his pursuit of Elizabeth than Nathan. The charming, dark-haired stranger shared a dance with the schoolteacher, her choice, during the When Calls the Heart sixth season finale. Though, Nathan did catch her eye for a lingering moment.
What do you think Hearties and Hopefuls? Is it possible Nathan would leave Hope Valley behind and move to Brookfield? We’ll need to watch both Hallmark dramas when they return in 2020 to find out.

Hottie “bad boy” Lucas all day! Grant is too similar to jack and boring. Chemistry with Lucas is incredible!
I watched WHC and enjoyed it but I do not recall any ladies from Brookfield taking an interest in Mounty Nate. I am an Elizabeth and Nathan fan here!! I like the dynamic of Nathan, Ally, Elizabeth, and baby Jack. A blended family is very relevant today . The show is based on a teacher and Mounty which I for one would like to see that continue. Also I feel Lucas is better suited for Fiona the telephone operator!
Elizabeth and Mountie Nathan fan here. There is so much natural chemistry between them. Lucas seems to be buying her affection. He is also a smooth operator and his character & lifestyle does not seem fitting to be the future father of her and Jacks sons. Nathan has been slowly gaining admiration and affection for her. I would love to see a future blended family of Nathan and Elizabeth with baby Jack and Allie.
While Lucas is the better looking of the two men, Nathan is just plain sexy. I see the paring of Elizabeth and Nathan with the potential of even more passion than her and Jack where the relationship dragged on for 5 seasons.

Lucas and Fiona yeah ! An interesting storyline could be Fiona crushing on Lucas. They looked great in the season 6 scenes and she was already looking out for him.
Lies I tell you. I watched When Hope Calls and let me tell you that this is BS right here Completely BS. The MAIN Romance for Lillian was with Gabriel with which is also is also sadly in a love triangle with a guy name Sam. Yes we saw Nathan in Brookfield but doing his job and for all we know the Mounties order him. Elizabeth has more in common with Nathan raising Jack Jr on her own and Nathan raising his niece on his own.
Elizabeth took a shine to Nathan when he watched Jack Jr for a bit but also with his niece Ally.
100% rooting for Nathan.

I think Bill needs to investigate Lucas. When he first came to town, he got that big trunk – it’s still under the floor…I haven’t forgotten. And, Elizabeth was held hostage because of Lucas being involved in something illegal. He is too slick and his past has not been revealed.
