Hallmark movie news reveals Days of Our Lives alum Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) is in a new holiday movie. This one is called Time for You to Come Home for Christmas. Learn about the film, when it will premiere and who else has been cast.

About Time for You to Come Home for Christmas

According to the network’s official website, the film is about a woman named Katherine (Alison Sweeney), who recently lost her husband. The widow and her son are traveling to their hometown in Virginia for the holidays. While on their trip, they meet a man who just happens to be headed to the same destination. As they continue to spend time with one another, Katherine and the mysterious traveler get closer.

IMDB posted a few additional details, stating that Katherine’s companion is a veteran who is on his own Christmas journey. It is revealed that as the holiday nears, Katherine and the veteran discover a bond that just might be the miracle that they both need.

In addition to Sweeney, the film also stars Lucas Bryant, Michelle Brezinski, Nikki Chohan, Sebastian Gacki and Michele Scarabelli. Also, Alea O’Shea will portray a young Katherine.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere Time for You to Come Home for Christmas on Sunday, December 8.

Hallmark’s Miracles of Christmas 2019

Time for You to Come Home for Christmas is part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas. In addition to this film, which is executive produced by Blake Shelton, other great movies have been added to the lineup for 2019.

One of these includes Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday, which stars another Day of Our Lives alum, Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan).

Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives

Sweeney made her debut as Dr. Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) scandalous and scheming daughter, Sami Brady in 1993. Although always a troublemaker, Sami was known for having good intentions. She has appeared in a total of 1,991 episodes of DOOL. The last time she was in Salem was on June 24, 2019.

Although the actress is staying busy with other projects, she remains a fan-favorite character on the long-running soap opera.
