Erin has always been protective of her ‘WCTH’ family and she is just as protective of Hearties. When someone recently tried to stir up trouble on Twitter the actress quickly responded. The original tweet, that has since been deleted, asked if there was any truth to chatter about the series cancellation after season 7 wrapped.

“Sounds like poppycock to me,” Erin responded. Sound like something Elizabeth would say, doesn’t it?

Many of Erin Krakows’s followers were quick to respond. “Someone is being a twonk,” said one Heartie. Another shared a GIF of a man stirring a pot. Another shared a GIF of a woman saying, “it’s poppycock.” Thank goodness Hearties have excellent senses of humor.

‘WCTH’ returned from the short break in a much anticipated two-night event in May. Putting fans worries to rest, Erin confirmed ‘When Calls the Heart’ had been renewed for a seventh season. In a brief clip on the official Hallmark Channel USA Facebook page, an excited Erin revealed, “I am thrilled to announce ‘When Calls the Heart season 7 coming next year [2020]!!” The Hallmark Channel has several exciting premieres coming up. The most anticipated is ‘When Hope Calls,’ the spin-off ‘WCTH.’

The first original Hallmark Movies NOW drama premiere on Friday, August 30, 2019. New episodes will available every Friday through October 25, 2019 on the subscription-based service.

Erin Krakow’s response is no guarantee that ‘When Calls the Heart’ will return for an eighth season.
