Hallmark Channel News: First Look – Nikki DeLoach and Michael Rady Star In ‘Two Turtle Doves’

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original Christmas movie ‘Two Turtle Doves,’ starring Nikki DeLoach and Michael Rady, makes its world premiere Friday, November 1, 2019, at 9:00 p.m. Et/8:00 p.m CT. The Christmas movie is all part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ‘Miracles of Christmas’ Celebration.

Nikki gives fans a behind the scenes look, giving us some insight into the characters in ‘Two Turtle Doves’ and the magic of Christmas.

“Sharon just recently lost her grandmother, and [Sharon] has spent a year of time running away from the thing that she actually studies, part of it being grief. Now she has to go home and get her grandmother’s things in order.”

Though it is Sharon’s first Christmas at home without her grandmother, she vows to not let her sadness overshadow a lifetime of happiness. Not only is Sharon facing her grief this holiday season, but disheartened father Sam Tyler (Michael Rady) and his adorable daughter Mykala (Michaela Russell) are experiencing a deep sadness of their own.

Michael jumps in with his own perspective of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday-themed movie. “We’re telling a romance about two people who are on their own trajectories on the path of grieving and dealing with loss.”

What happens next is an enchanting story that Hallmarkies have come to love each holiday season. Christmas and Sharon’s grandmother will start changing the paths that Michael and Sharon are on.

Sharon and Michael begin making new Christmas memories, and the two turtle doves are part of what brings them together. Both discover that Christmas miracles do happen.

“There is a story behind the two turtle doves ornaments that the movie is based around,” Nikki explains. It’s a story of love with the passing down of the Christmas ornaments. You’ll need to watch ‘Two Turtle Doves’ to find out what part the family heirlooms play in Sam and Sharon’s romance. Michael thinks fans of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas stories “will enjoy being taken to the places we’re going to take them. I think there are tender, really sweet moments.
