The movie centers around a woman named Charlotte. She is a country singer who is on her way home for the holidays. Her brother, Ryan, is a fellow ex-soldier who is in town as well. While visiting family and friends while she is back in her hometown, Charlotte is working on her new album. However, she also chips in and helps Matt build a home for someone in town

What we also love from the preview is that there are shelter dogs involved. It turns out that these animals are placed with veterans. So, not only do we get to watch a great movie that spreads holiday cheer, hope and love, but spreads awareness about veterans and gives information about a good cause too!

On Home & Family, Osnes discussed the Christmas movie. It was revealed that not only is Charlotte a country singer, but a very quick rising star. It was also teased that the character is torn between her career and personal life. She explained,

“When the movie starts, we see Charlotte sending her brother off to Afghanistan… at the send-off, she meets another soldier and sparks kind of fly. Then we fast forward three years and Charlotte becomes a music star in Nashville and her career really takes off.”

However, will she choose her country music career over love and family? Or perhaps there is a way to balance both? Fans will have to watch the movie to find out!
