Former Hallmark network star Lori Loughlin is feeling sad, upset, and remorseful over everything that has happened ever since her life was turned upside down by the college admissions scandal.
Loughlin was fired from the Hallmark channel after reports indicated that she and her husband Mossimo Giannulli (of Target t-shirt fame), were indicted for apparently bribing college admission administrators to accept their daughters, Olivia and Isabella, into prestigious universities.
Loughlin’s When Calls the Heart character was written out of the show shortly after the scandal made headlines. And now the actress says that she’s having a very difficult time building her life back up again, as she doesn’t know what the future holds.
Hallmark Channel News – Loughlin Is Looking To Start Life Over Again
According to People Magazine, one insider close to the actress knows that while her reputation may never be the same, she is looking to start her life over again, both professionally and personally.
“She’s embarrassed and hurt, and she knows that her reputation has been ruined for life. But she also believes the allegations against her aren’t true,” the source shares.
Also, the insider notes that Loughlin didn’t really think that what she was doing was illegal. “She honestly didn’t think what she was doing was any different than donating money for a library or athletic field,” adds the source. “That’s the crux of why she pleaded not guilty.”
Hallmark Channel News – Will Loughlin And Her Husband End Up In Jail?
With that said, both Loughlin and her husband have no idea what the future holds for them. They are due back in court on August 27, where they are expected to waive their rights to separate attorneys.

Both are being represented by attorneys by the same law firm. That’s because the couple want to show that they are putting forward a united front in this.
If that weren’t enough, the insider also told the publication that Loughlin believes living in a real jail cell would be easier in than the “prison” that she has been in these last few months. Of course, Hallmark fans will find out soon enough if that will be Lori’s new reality in the coming months.
