Hallmark Movies News– The Movie Will Be Heartwarming

The movie is about two mayors of neighboring towns – East Riverton and West Riverton – who are longtime rivals. They find themselves each determined to win the annual statewide Christmas Spirit Competition when both towns advance to the final round. But ultimately, they decide that their best hope is in working together. They collaborate to show what Christmas means to their communities, and they also discover love along the way.

In the behind-the-scenes feature for “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” Tricia Helfer spoke a bit more about the plot. “It’s a story about East and West Riverton that have been separated…and of course, the mayor of West Riverton happens to be someone [my character] has known her entire life.”

She continued: “They are in a massive competition to win the Christmas Spirit of the Year award. It’s something the whole town comes together and has fun with. It’s a sweet story about realizing and learning to let go and maybe see somebody who has been in front of you all along.”
