Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Will There Be Ride Season 2?
Based on Nielsen ratings reported by TV Series Finale, Ride Season 1 has garnered an average viewership of 1 million per episode.
This figure is notably lower compared to Hallmark’s other original series. When Calls the Heart and The Way Home recorded averages of 2.3 million and 1.5 million viewers per episode, respectively, in their most recent seasons, both of which have been renewed.
Similarly, Good Witch, another Hallmark original series, maintained an average of 1.6 million viewers per episode in its final season in 2021.
As of now, Hallmark has yet to make an official statement regarding the potential renewal of Ride for its second season. Fans will just have to wait for further updates.
Ride debuted on Hallmark Channel back on March 26. It was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It consists of 10 episodes and is under Seven24 Films Production, which is responsible for projects such as Brokeback Mountain and Heartland.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Ride Actress Reveals She Lied To Get Role
Sara Garcia shared during a Facebook Live back on March 30 that she lied just to get an acting part in Ride. The actress admitted that she didn’t have any experience. But she pretended that she had so she could land a role.
“I didn’t have any experience with horses at all,” she revealed.
“And I specifically remember the audition (staff) asking if the actors did have experience or if they were afraid of horses or if they were allergic, and I was just like, ‘I’m experienced, I’m fine,” she added.
Garcia added that she needed more help in getting used to the animals before she took the riding lessons, which were mandatory for the entire cast.
“I ended up actually doing an equine therapy session where I got to learn a little about horse energy, and meet a horse and just hang out in a pen for an hour with them,” she continued.
She eventually became more confident and comfortable riding horses. Not only that, she loved the experience of being around farms and ranches, since she has always been a city girl.
