Hallmark Channel Star Voices Concern Against Vaccine Mandates Over Weekend

Over this past weekend, popular Hallmark Channel star Candace Cameron Bure took to her Instagram Story. She shared a video about a professor potentially losing their teaching position over their refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Cameron Bure then went on to share her beliefs on the subject. Meanwhile, it turns out she is also starring and exec producing a new Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel.

While the Instagram Story has since been deleted, Candace Cameron Bure opened up this weekend on the subject of COVID vaccine mandates. After sharing a video about the professor who potentially lost their teaching position over the refusal to have the COVID-19 vaccine, she opened up on her own opinions.

“I can no longer stay silent on vaccine mandates. Although I will not disclose my vaccination status to you, I am absolutely opposed to vaccine MANDATES, anywhere. We must speak up,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first time Cameron Bure has been involved in COVID-19 related headlines. December 2020 saw her being hit by criticism for attending a caroling event held by her brother, Kirk Cameron. The event was held in California during a state of lockdown due to the virus. At that time, she took to Twitter to defend herself.

In her tweet, Candace wrote, “I did not attend any recent caroling events. Also, I choose to follow the greater guidelines by wearing a mask and social distance when I’m in public.”

Hallmark Spoilers – Another Hallmark Star In headlines Over Vaccine Status

During August, another Hallmark star made headlines after she turned down the chance to perform at a benefit concert. The reasoning was that the theater required all performers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Laura Osnes, who starred in Hallmark’s One Royal Holiday and Raise a Glass to Love has not been vaccinated and also shared an Instagram post.

In the since-deleted Instagram post, Osnes explained that pulling out of the concert wasn’t the drama the headlines made it out to be. In fact, she said pulling out of the event  –

Meanwhile, the popular Christmas Hallmark star recently confirmed that she will star in another Christmas movie this year. AFCF West reports that the working title of the movie is The Christmas Contest. Besides starring in the film, Cameron Bure is also listed as one of the Executive Producers.

Shooting is scheduled to start on September 13 and will wrap on October 1.
