The plot of Love Strikes Twice is similar, in a way, to the story of 13 Going on 30, where a teen wishes she was older. However, this time, the story goes in reverse. It is also a little like the question, “If I knew then, what I know now.” In fact, the film is about a woman wishing to be younger.

The lead character, Maggie, is suffering marriage issues with her husband, Josh. In a state of stress, she wishes for a second chance and mysteriously finds herself 15 years in the past. In fact, at this time, she has two potential lovers to choose from. The first is her future husband, Josh, while the second is her college boyfriend, Rick.

Armed with the knowledge of the ensuing 15 years, Maggie has a huge decision to make. Will she once again choose Josh and end up having problems with her marriage once again? Alternatively, will she take a different route this time?

Hallmark has released the three major cast members of Love Strikes Twice. Katie Findlay stars as Maggie. Previously, Katie has been seen in the crime series The Killing, as well as The Carrie Diaries. Of Maggie’s two potential suitors, Josh is played by actor Wyatt Nash (Dear White People, GLOW and Riverdale), while Rick is played by Marshall Williams (The Ice Road, Headcase, Glee).

Hallmark Channel News – When Does The Hallmark Channel Movie Release?

Love Strikes Twice will air as part of Hallmark’s Fall Harvest programming event, where the channel airs a number of original films during the fall. The film is set to release on October 2 at 9 pm ET. So far, no trailer has been released for Love Strikes Twice.
