Hallmark Channel’s South Beach Love Is A Quinceañera War

When two girls celebrate their 15th birthday, or Quinceañera, on the same weekend, this is a recipe for disaster. However, the Hallmark movie South Beach Love is also about plenty of love, fun, family and delicious Cuban cooking. The Hallmark Channel movie South Beach Love is based on a novel by the New York Times bestselling author, Caridad Piñeiro. Starring Taylor Cole (One Winter Wedding, Salvation) and William Levy (The Scent of Passion, The Tempest) the film tells the story of two young girls celebrating their 15th birthday. However, it also revolves around two exes who end up in the middle of these important events.

According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Sara (Cole) is catering her niece’s quinceañera. However, the 15th birthday celebration gets complicated when her ex-boyfriend Tony (Levy) comes back to Miami to cater his own niece’s quinceañera. With both events planned for the self-same weekend, this ends up with Sara and Tony vying against each other to win the cover of a local magazine. Along the way, however, it is also about family fun and delicious Cuban cooking.

While the two families used to be close, both are now at odds over the conflicting quinceañeras, meaning there are fences to mend if their friendship is to be restored. However, of course, this is Hallmark we are talking about. As Sara and Tony do their best to outdo each other and host the perfect party, will their reunion spark a battle, or lead them back to romance?

It is very clear that Taylor Cole thoroughly enjoyed filming South Beach Love. Last month, she posted on Instagram to share her joy and to thank the cast and writer.

South Beach Love will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, October 9, at 9 pm Eastern. Should you miss it, the movie encores on Sunday, October 10, at 6 pm, Thursday, October 14, at 8 pm, Sunday October 17, at 12 pm, Tuesday, October 19 at 12 pm and Thursday, October 21, at 6 pm, all Eastern Time.
