Hallmark Couple Victor Webster And Shantel VanSanten Are Calling It Quits

While Hallmark Channel stars Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten celebrated a trio of wedding celebrations, their short marriage is over.

They might look blissfully happy in these images from Hallmark’s Love Blossoms, but Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten have decided to call it quits after less than two years of marriage. In fact, the couple which had a trio of wedding celebrations is heading for divorce. Read on to find out more about the sad split of this beautiful Hallmark couple.

Hallmark star Victor Webster files for divorce from Shantel VanSanten

After less than two years of marriage, Hallmark star Victor Webster has filed for divorce from his wife, Shantel VanSanten. Fans may remember that the couple held three wedding ceremonies. It started with an intimate civil ceremony in August 2021 outside Pasadena City Hall in California.

Next, the loving couple had a second celebration in October 2021 in Napa, California, followed by a third wedding in her hometown of Luverne, Minnesota, to allow her elderly family members to attend.

However, after getting married three times, the couple is heading for divorce. In fact, Webster, 50, filed for divorce from VanSanten, 37, in January 2022. According to court documents obtained by People, their date of separation was January 10.

Meanwhile, the reason for Victor and Shantel’s split was not noted in the court filing. Moreover, when People contacted Webster and VanSanten for comment, there was no response.

Trio of weddings for Hallmark stars

Speaking at the time with Brides about the wedding, VanSanten explained, “When my grandfather unexpectedly passed away on Father’s Day, the heartbreak was unbearable; I had been planning on him walking me down the aisle in Minnesota,” adding:

In the midst of my grief, I looked at Victor and said I wanted to do a spontaneous civil ceremony on my grandparents’ wedding date, August 9.

The One Tree Hill alum said the idea of her grandparents being reunited and watching over our ceremony from above gave her some peace. Shantel said they were married for 63 years and had “such a special, deep love.”

They were the example to me of how love is a choice and takes work. It wasn’t perfect, but their love was always pure.

Webster and VanSanten’s romantic timeline

Victor and Shantel first met on the set of the Hallmark movie, Love Blossoms, in 2018. They went on to date for four years before getting engaged in February 2020.

After Webster proposed to VanSanten, she told People, “It was the most perfect, wonderful day of my entire life,” adding, “And I can’t wait to marry my best friend.”
