Hallmark channel news reveals fan favorite Lacey Chabert revealing if she would ever leave the company. And Lacey’s revelation comes at a pivotal time. Because recently, Candace Cameron Bure stirred up drama with her own comments about Hallmark.
Find out what Chabert shared about Hallmark. And discover if she mentioned Candace. Get all the details below.
Lacey Chabert – Defends Hallmark Over Candace Cameron Bure!
Candace Cameron Bure recently talked about a leadership change at Hallmark. And she complained that the network had changed so much that she felt forced to leave for GAC Family. However, Hallmark’s reigning queen of films, Lacey Chabert, disagrees, noted TV Line.
Chabert understands that Bure used the so-called “change of leadership” as a reason to leave. But Lacey questions Candace’s complaint that Hallmark become a “completely different network.” And Chabert praised any and all changes.
“Any shift I’ve felt has been embracing our creative ideas,” explained Chabert. “And it’s my responsibility to the audience who continue to tune into my movies that I give the best I have to offer. That’s always my mission.”

Hallmark Queen Lacey Chabert Vows To ‘Never Abandon’!
Thus far, Lacey has appeared in 30 Hallmark films. And that tops Bure’s 29 movies for the company. But beyond profits, Chabert praises what Hallmark means to her. And she vowed never to let go of that meaning.
“I’ll never abandon what Hallmark means for me,” promised Lacey. And that means “everything is centered around the heart. I don’t think there are any plans for that to change anytime soon.”
Candace’s complaints about the leadership change date back to January 2020. That month marked the exit of former Crown Media Family Networks Chief Executive Officer Bill Abbott. And he left over the way Hallmark managed a same-sex wedding commercial. However, Abbott then made his comeback heading up the GAC Family parent company Great American Media. Former Hallmark stars such as Bure have joined Abbott at GAC.
Lacey Calls Hallmark Her Home
But like Lacey, many Hallmark stars want to stay with their network home. And Chabert skillfully avoided commenting on her co-stars who abandoned Hallmark for the Great American Family channel. However, she did double down on her support for Hallmark.
“You know what, I wish everybody the best. I really can’t comment on it further other than I care about everybody involved. I’m with Hallmark,” summed up Chabert. “And I work for them. But I’ll just have to leave it at that,” she added per Variety.
Crown Media Family Networks and Chabert have set up an exclusive multi-picture overall agreement. And that means Lacey will both star in and executive produce movies for the Hallmark Chanell over the next two years. But though Chabert didn’t say it, others have seen Bure’s comments as anti-LGBTQ. For instance, Neal Bledsoe, an actor who starred in several Great American Family films, shared his exit as a result of Bure’s beliefs.
