Hallmark Releases Premiere Date For Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story

As excitement grows over the new Hunter King and Tyler Hynes movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, Hallmark has now announced the premiere date. The Christmas movie filmed in collaboration with the NFL will premiere on Saturday, November 30 as part of the Countdown to Christmas programming event. Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story on Hallmark

Hunter King and Tyler Hynes star in this new, original movie as part of the Countdown to Christmas programming event on Hallmark. Filmed in collaboration with the NFL, the holiday movie also features Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, for added interest!

The premiere date was announced on Thursday night, as King and Hynes appeared at the World’s Biggest Tailgate Party. Airing on Saturday, November 30, just a week after Thanksgiving, this will be the biggest holiday movie weekend of 2024. So far, Hallmark hasn’t announced the time, but it should be released when the feel-good network announces its 15th anniversary of Countdown to Christmas movies.

Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs

What makes the movie especially exciting is that it is the first movie where Hallmark has collaborated with the NFL. Meanwhile, Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs are excited to work together as they are both based in Kansas City.

On that note, People quoted Darren Abbot, Hallmark’s Chief Brand Officer in a statement about the great partnership:

Moreover, Mark Donovan, President of the Kansas City Chiefs also released a statement about the fact that the premiere date was announced at the tailgate party, saying:

We are extremely grateful for the entire Hallmark team and the unique hometown partnership that’s been created around our two brands and this movie.

With the excitement of the football season, and the holiday season on the horizon, there is no better way to highlight this partnership and announce the premiere date than to leverage one of Kansas City’s biggest parties – Chiefs gameday!

About Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story

According to the official synopsis, the new, original movie tells the story of Alana (King), who comes from a family of Kansas City Chief superfans. She is excited to try and win the Fan of the Year Award for her family for Christmas.

Meanwhile, Alana’s family comes in as one of three finalists, and Derrick (Hynes), from the Chiefs’ front office, has to determine who should win. Moreover, along the way, sparks started flying between Alana and Derrick. However, after Alana’s grandfather loses his beloved vintage Chiefs hat, she starts to think that all hope is gone. However, a little Christmas magic and a touch of love go towards making Christmas special.
