It was in April that Hallmark Channel star Brennan Elliott first revealed his wife’s cancer journey and now gives an update.

Hallmark star Brennan Elliott is known for his roles in Cedar Cove and Crossword Mysteries, where he plays opposite Lacey Chabert. In April, Elliott opened up on Instagram to tell fans his wife, Cami, had been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic gastric cancer. The actor has now opened up about the private struggle he and Cami are having at home and thanked his fans for all their support.

Hallmark Channel – Star Brennan Elliott And Cami’s Cancer Journey

While the announcement was first made by Brennan Elliott in April, he recently gave an update on his wife’s cancer journey. In his initial Instagram post, he had called Cami “fearless” even when “faced with an opponent that never plays fair.”

At the time, Elliott explained that he generally prefers to keep his work and private life separate. However, he said he and his wife had decided to share the news with his fans. They felt that being open and honest about the cancer diagnosis could help others who were struggling with a similar diagnosis

Meanwhile, Brennan recently attended Christmas Con with other Hallmark stars and People wanted to know how Cami is doing. They also wanted to know what it was like when his Instagram blew up, leading to many people supporting Cami in her journey.

Elliott said when he made the post, it was all about Cami, as he wanted it to be. Meanwhile, they had “over a million people praying for her in like two days.” He said it was “just bananas,” and was a testament to fans that watch Hallmark Channel or are in the cancer community.

When asked how Cami was doing, he said she is still battling cancer and currently things seem to be going well. In fact, he told People, “There’s no evidence of disease.” However, he said he wasn’t painting a positive picture yet, after everything he and his wife have gone through. According to Brennan, cancer is “an absolute nightmare.” However, they have gone through the struggle together and Elliott opened up about it being “OK to not be fine.” Moreover, he went on to share details about her chemo treatment. Brennan said:

She’s hanging in there. She finished her last eighth round of chemo. Well, she’s done 16 over the last two or three years. Yeah, she’s a warrior.

It turns out this isn’t the first time Cami has been diagnosed with cancer and as most people know, her chemo journey would have been really tough. Hopefully, all will be well with Elliott and his lovely wife Cami from now on.
