Hallmark ChannelFans of the classic Back to the Future movies have a treat in store on Hallmark’s Christmas programming lineup. Hallmark Channel Spoiler’s – Next Stop, Christmas

Doc Brown and Lorraine Baines-McFly are set to reunite in the new Hallmark Christmas movie Next, Stop Christmas. Even better for sci-fi fans, the storyline also involves time travel!

Christopher Lloyd famously starred as the eccentric scientist and Marty McFly’s (Michael J Fox) mentor Doc Brown in the three Back to the Future movies. Meanwhile, Lea Thompson famously played Marty’s mother Lorraine.

A brief synopsis of the Christmas film reveals that Angie is wondering what her life would have been like if she had married a former boyfriend who became a famous sportscaster.

Angie takes the train to her home town to spend Christmas with her family and mysteriously finds herself 10 years in the past. However, with the help of the train’s enigmatic conductor (guess who!) Angie gets the chance to revisit that Christmas and discover what, and more importantly who, is truly important to her.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers  – Other Cast In The Hallmark Christmas Movie

Besides our Back to the Future friends, other cast members in Next Stop, Christmas include Lyndsy Fonseca of How I Met your Mother and Chandler Massey of Days of Our Lives.

Meanwhile, as reported by Michael Fairman TV, six-time Daytime Emmy-winner Erika Slezak (One Life to Live) is also starring. When asked about her role, she said, “I play a wealthy woman who has lived in the town and knows everyone and is loved by everyone and she throws a huge Christmas party every year.” Slezak said that is all she is permitted to share.

Meanwhile, it turns out Lloyd hasn’t been lazing around, as he also appeared in a live-action trailer for Rick and Morty where he plays the voice role of Rick Sanchez, a character partly based on his Doc Brown persona. Also of interest, Back to the Future: The Musical is playing at the Adelphi Theater in London until February 13, 2022.
