Hallmark spoilers and updates tease that one of its go-to actresses is moving to GAC Family (fka Great American Country.” Danica McKellar is departing the network to transfer to her new cable home.
Hallmark Channel News – Danica McKellar’s New GAC Project
McKellar appeared on more than half a dozen movies under the Countdown to Christmas programming for Hallmark since 2015. It’s been revealed that the actress signed a four-picture deal to star and executive produce movies for GAC Family and GAC Living. Her deal extends until 2023 and during that time, she’ll be doing romantic comedies and holiday films for GAC exclusively.

McKellar’s first project is The Winter Palace, which is scheduled to air on GAC Family in January 2022. She’ll star as well as serve as an executive producer.
Bill Abbott, President & CEO of GAC Media described Danica as a World Class Talent “who is among TV’s most beloved and enduring stars.”
“Her combination of creativity and passion is second to none, and I am thrilled to have her join GAC’s close-knit family,” he continued.
Abbot previously worked as the CEO of Hallmark Channel’s parent company called Crown Media Family Networks. Now, he’s been bringing Hallmark talents that he has worked with to GAC. McKellar was the most recent addition aside from Trevor Donovan.
Hallmark Channel News – Danuca McKellar’s Acting Credits
McKellar has appeared every year on Hallmark Channel Holiday movies since 2015. Her most recent film with the network, which premiered last week on Hallmark Channel, was “You, Me, and the Christmas Trees.”
She recently appeared on the ABC comedy Home Economics and will appear as a judge on Fox’s Domino Masters, which is scheduled to air in the early 2020.

McKellar made her TV debut as Winne Cooper on The Wonder Years. Aside from acting, she’s also a celebrated children’s book author. Her works include Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, and The Times Machine.
McKellar isn’t only an impeccable actress and popular writer, the actress was a summa cum laude graduate of UCLA and earned her undergraduate degree. She was also featured in the front page of The New York Times’ Science Section. She also received a UCLA Award for Graduate Achievement and the Communications Award from the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics.
She’s an advocate of adding more women in the field of science and math. She made her concerns known when he testified before congress. She was eventually named as “Person of the Week” by ABC World News.
