Hallmark fans might be excited to learn that Alison Sweeney is returning with another Hannah Swensen Mystery. The network dropped a preview video and some photos for the new installment of the series titled, “Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery”, which offers some clues on what viewers can expect.
Hallmark’s “Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” – What Is The New Installment About?
According to the synopsis, Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery will center around Hannah’s favorite reality series taking over The Cookie Jar.
After a producer is found dead, Norman Rhodes (Gabriel Hogan) and Hannah team up to find the killer. In addition, Chad Norton (Victor Webster) asks Hannah to court.
Now that Hannah is hanging out with both Chad and Norman, could a love triangle be on the horizon? Looks like that’s the case!
Meanwhile, the preview video offers even more details. First off, Connie Mac, “the Queen of Kitchen” will be shooting an episode at The Cookie Jar, and Hannah will be over the moon. As Connie walks in looking very celebrity-esque with her dark sunglasses, a voiceover can be heard stating, “It’s lights, camera … murder!”
As the scenes shift, Hannah runs over to the corner of her bakery/coffee house, and there’s a lifeless body on the floor. Chad asks Hannah, “Who would want to kill a producer?” As the preview goes on, there is a vehicle that is close to hitting Hannah, but Chad pushes her aside.

Of course, Sweeney, Webster, and Hogan are all coming back for this new Hannah Swensen Mystery, as well as Barbara Niven (Hannah’s mom, Dolores), and Tess Atkins (Michelle).
Two notable missing characters are Cameron Mathison (Mike), as he no longer works for Hallmark and has signed an exclusive contract with Great American Family, as well as Lisa Durupt who plays Andrea, Hannah’s sister.
Fans should mark their calendars for Thursday, February 6 at 8 p.m. ET, for Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery’s premiere. Of course, those with Peacock can stream the show up to 72 hours after the fact. It’ll also be available on Hallmark+ starting on Friday, February 7.
