The new, original movie The Wedding Veil: Unveiled is the second in the crossover trilogy starring Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Christmas at Castle Hart), Autumn Reeser (Sully, Entourage) and Alison Sweeney (Days of Our Lives, Open by Christmas). However, Paolo Bernardini (All the Money in the World) also stars as Emma’s handsome love interest.

The movie forms part of Hallmark Channel’s Loveuary programming event and will definitely attract some love. The crossover trilogy tells the story of three college friends who share a 19th-century antique wedding veil, said to bring true love to whoever holds it.

Hallmark Channel News – Plot Of The Wedding Veil: Unveiled

The second in the crossover trilogy, The Wedding Veil: Unveiled, was partly filmed on location in beautiful Burano, Italy. According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Chicago-based professor Emma (Reeser) heads to Italy to teach the history of American art.

While she is in Italy, she researches the provenance of the wedding veil in her free time. This leads her to the colorful and beautiful town of Burano, renowned for its exquisitely handcrafted lace. As she heads to the island, she meets a handsome man (Bernardini) who offers her some help. However, Emma, still getting over the end of a long-distance relationship, declines his offer.

Meanwhile, her search leads her to the oldest shop in Burano, where the owner is excited to see the wedding veil. Emma doesn’t speak Italian, but luckily, the man she had met earlier turns up and offers to translate. She finds out that his name is Paolo and the shop owner is his grandmother.

Paolo explains that the wedding veil shares a special connection in his family, who had thought it was lost or destroyed. Emma and Paolo decide to work together in an effort to unravel the century-old mystery of how the long-lost veil made its way from Italy to a shop in San Francisco.

As they spend time together, Paolo helps Emma to relax and embrace the beauty of Italy and soon they start falling in love. However, as Emma gets ready to return home to Chicago, she isn’t sure she can handle yet another long-distance relationship, but the wedding veil and its legend could have other plans for the pair.
