Lori Loughlin Joins When Hope Calls Christmas Special

When Hope Calls spoilers and updates tease that Lori Loughlin will reprise her role as Abigail Stanton from When Calls The Heart in the spinoff’s upcoming Christmas special.

ET previously shared a teaser of the upcoming special featuring Loughlin as Abigail. Hope Valley’s former mayor stands in front of a Christmas tree with her son, Cody (Carter Ryan).

Abigail then says “Cody, nothing has made me happier than being your mom.” Cody then replies and asks his mom if she meant what she said. Abigail then answers, “with all my heart.”

Recently, a new clip from the Christmas special of When Calls The Heart’s spinoff was dropped. It shows Abigail giving Gabriel (RJ Hatanaka) some advice on the best gift he could give to a special person in his life.

Lori Loughlin  News – Abigail Offers Gabriel Some Advice

The new trailer for When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas was shared on Twitter by GAC Family on November 22. In the sneak peek, Gabriel gives Abigail three options and asks her what would make the best Christmas gift for a friend. These three things are perfume, scarf, and a rolling pin.

Gabriel is surprised that Abigail knows who he was thinking of giving these gifts. She told him that he wouldn’t be Lillian’s (Morgan Kohan) friend if he gave her the perfume. The rolling pin won’t impress her either but she thinks the scarf would make a nice gift.

Will the gift be enough for Gabriel to convey his feelings for Lillian? So, Abigail asks him if he wants her to think that he wants to be his friend only. Judging by Gabriel’s reaction, Abigail then suggests that he give Lillian a gift that he can’t find in a store.

“Why don’t you just speak to her from your heart? That’s a gift that can keep on giving,” Abigail says.

When Hope Calls News – Abigail Stanton Shares Scene With Jack  Thorton

Aside from Gabriel, Abigail will also share a scene with Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). Since the character died back in season 5, she may see him in the form of a dream or even as a ghost. The scene will be brief and he’ll only appear in a single scene.

Lissing and Loughlin’s return has made many hearties feel excited about the season 2 premiere of When Hope Calls. Many fans have missed Jack ever since he was killed off the show and a lot of them were also disappointed when Loughlin was fired after getting involved in a scandal. Fans are extremely thrilled to see both characters back on screen.
