The new, original movie Undercover Holiday stars Noémi González and Stephen Huszar as part of Hallmark’s beloved Countdown To Christmas programming event. The movie, premiering on Sunday tells the story of a pop star who pretends her security guard is her beau while visiting home for the holidays.

According to the official synopsis, Undercover Holiday tells the story of a pop star, Jaylen Rodriguez (Noémi González) who has recently catapulted to stardom. In fact, she is about to headline her very first tour. However, when planning to return home for Christmas, Jaylen starts receiving worrying fan mail from a “secret admirer.” This leads her team to insist she hire round-the-clock security for her trip home. Meanwhile, overzealous fans and security guards are everything her family worried about when she first set off to make it in the music business. However, this is her new reality, so she relents.

However, not wanting to make her tight-knit family, especially her beloved Abuela (Gabriella Reynoso), she pretends her security guard, Matt (Stephen Huszar), a former Navy SEAL, is her boyfriend. Meanwhile, her family is thrilled that Jaylen is dating and welcomes Matt with open arms.

However, for her part, Jaylen finds Matt’s presence invasive. In fact, while they do their best to maintain the charade, they continually butt heads. While she wants to relive the hometown Christmases of her youth, Matt struggles to protect her in potentially vulnerable situations.

Meanwhile, the security guard’s protection takes on a new meaning, as the line between bodyguard and boyfriend becomes blurred, as their lives are changed forever.
