General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Pressures Dex To Share Why Carly Came To His Aid

General Hospital spoilers reveals Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was already suspicious when the van transporting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) from the PCPD to Pentonville crashed on the side of the road — given that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was the driver who hijacked it on Sonny’s command.

However, when Dex failed to get in touch with Sonny after Anna fled the site of the accident, he became concerned. Sonny doesn’t like being left out of the loop, especially when the PCPD could come knocking at his door at any moment. When Dex finally showed up days later, the best explanation he offered was that he was protecting Sonny by staying away and was too incoherent to contact him any sooner. Sonny accepted that answer in the moment, but it never meant he believed Dex.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Comes Out

Soon, Sonny is going to find out the truth about where Dex was camping out while he recovered, or at least he’s going to think he does. When Brick (Stephen A. Smith) figures out the antibiotics he gave Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were for Dex, he’s going to report back to Sonny. Brick won’t like feeling as though he’s throwing Carly under the bus, and he might even temper his report by reminding Sonny not to jump to conclusions about why Carly would be involved with Dex. However, Sonny’s never been good at taming his feelings for his ex-wife. If he thinks Dex has become involved with her, he’s going to be furious.

GH Spoilers – Indicate Sonny Corinthos Confronts Dex Heller First

Sonny won’t waste any time confronting Dex about where he was after being injured by that gunshot. When he insists on seeing the wound, Dex will produce the evidence on his abdomen. When Sonny demands to know where Dex camped out and who nursed him back to health — or better yet who stitched up his wound — Dex will resist giving Sonny a straight answer. As Dex proves to Sonny that he has something to hide and is covering for someone else, Sonny will feel validated in the assumption he’s made about Dex being involved with Carly. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) isn’t even going to cross his mind, and that’s the way Dex wants to keep it. Will he let Carly pay the price though?

When Carly catches wind that Dex is in the hot seat — possibly from her old pal Brick — she’s going to race to Sonny’s office in an attempt to diffuse the situation. Carly didn’t have any trouble telling Sonny about her relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but Sonny might be thinking that was a lie to throw him off at this point.
