Hallmark Channel News – Cody Stanton Was Written Out Of When Calls The Heart When Lori Loughlin Was Fired

The College Admissions scandal created two job casualties. When Lori Loughlin lost her job at Hallmark, she lost her lead roles on both When Calls The Heart, and on Garage Sale Murders. Moreover, Carter Ryan, the actor who plays Cody Stanton, lost his job by default.

Seems that his Hallmark career was firmly attached to Loughlin’s, as he has not been back in Hope Valley in several seasons. When the producers went back and deleted all traces of Lori Loughlin from WCTH Season 6, they completely deleted Cody as well. That is some unfortunate luck.

But his luck has changed. Thanks to GAC, When Hope Calls gets a second season. Moreover, they currently filming the first two episodes. The episodes are called When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas Part 1, Part 2.

In the first part, Abigail and Cody bring a troubled boy to Lillian’s orphanage. During this time, photojournalist Paul Franklin is documenting why Brookfield is a contender to be America’s Number One Christmas Town. So, expect a lot of Christmas decorations.

However, the local Residents are not all feeling the cheer. They are feeling pretty down.

In Part 2, Paul Franklin is finishing up his research but seems to linger in Brookfield. He continues to find enchanting scenes that could win the town the prestigious award.

Meanwhile, Lillian is doing her best to help the troubled boy, but nothing seems to work. That is until a secret Santa grants all the holiday wishes. Meanwhile, Abigail has a “profound” conversation with a friend, from her past.
