Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has officially announced the new movie, A Zest For Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. As always, Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison and Barbara Niven reprise their roles along with Lisa Durupt as Hannah’s sister, Andrea. Meanwhile, the movie reveals that real estate can be a deadly business when a dead body is found in a house for sale. According to the official synopsis for the latest Hannah Swensen mystery, house hunting takes an unexpected turn when an undesirable feature is revealed – a dead body. Meanwhile, no one is surprised more than Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney), when her mother, Delores (Barbara Niven) discovers the body of a homeowner and regular customer of The Cookie Jar. This comes while house-hunting for her sister, Michelle (Tess Atkins).

As always, Hannah is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery and is convinced that the prime suspect Mike (Cameron Mathison) and the Sheriff (Mike Dopud) are focusing on isn’t the culprit. However, Hannah’s sleuthing becomes a family affair when Delores, Michelle and even her sister, Andrea (Lisa Durupt), who pays an unexpected visit, take part in the investigation.

Meanwhile, as Hannah uncovers clues, she slowly rules out suspects and discovers the shocking truth about the killer’s identity.

Alison Sweeney, who plays Hannah, is well known for her movies for Hallmark including The Wedding Veil franchise, Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Cake A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery and more. Of course, Alison has also starred in the popular soap, Days of Our Lives. Meanwhile, Cameron Mathison, who plays Mike, is also known for a number of Hallmark movies, including the Hannah Swensen films, as well as General Hospital.

Barbara Niven, who plays Hannah’s mother, Delores, is known for her role in the Hallmark series, Chesapeake Shores, as well as The Rat Pack and North to Home. Tess Atkins, who plays Hannah’s sister, Michelle has starred in The Flash, Continuum and A Killer Among Us. Lisa Durupt plays Hannah’s sister, Andrea and has been seen in Shall We Dance, Puppet Killer and Love, Guaranteed.

According to the official IMDb page, other cast members include Doralynn Mui (Riverdale, One of Us is Lying) as Alice, Natalie Skye (The House, At the Hotel) as Karen and Scott Fee (Antitrust, Alaska Daily) as Ken Purvis.

A Zest for Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery hails from Lighthouse Pictures in association with Looking Glass Productions. Executive producers are Sweeney, Craig Baumgarten, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson.

Meanwhile, Michael Shepard serves as co-executive producer, Jonathan Shore as supervising producer and Kevin Leslie as a producer. The movie is directed by Shannon Kohli from a script penned by Marcy Holland, based on the novel Lemon Meringue Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke.
