Rhiannon Fish and Benjamin Hollingsworth are exploring new waters in the upcoming movie, A Splash of Love. The movie premieres on Sunday, July 30, on Hallmark Channel.

According to the official synopsis, Chloe (Fish) is halfway through her Ph.D. program in marine Mammology (the study of marine mammals, in this case, whales). While she is studying at one of Miami’s top universities, she is spending long hours in the lab. Meanwhile, what she loves the most is being out on the water with the majestic whales. However, because her field is competitive, she doesn’t get the opportunity, as much as she would like.

While she is at the top of her class, she considers applying for a highly sought-after scholarship that would fund the last two years of her doctorate. Meanwhile, Dr. Andrea Ware (Madeleine Kelders), Chloe’s mentor, encourages her to go beyond their local waters. In fact, she convinces her to expand her studies to cover whales in the Pacific Northwest. This would give her more experience out in the field and hopefully, the confidence to apply for the scholarship.

While there, Chloe meets a whale-watching tour guide (Hollingsworth) and they soon find themselves bonding over more than just Orcas.

As mentioned, Rhiannon Fish is in the role of Chloe and is known for her work in The 100 and Journey of My Heart. She leads opposite Benjamin Hollingsworth who has starred in Code Black and Virgin River. Meanwhile, Madeleine Kelders, who plays Dr. Andrea Ware, starred in Love, Classified and The Bad Seed Returns.

Moreover, Kamantha Naidoo also stars (Girl In The Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez, Romance To The Rescue). Other cast includes Laura Soltis (Love On Fire, Christmas Waltz, Sean Yves Lessard (WifeLike, Heartland) and Juliana Wimbles (Murder She Baked, The Good Doctor). Meanwhile, the movie also stars Brad Abramenko (Peacemaker, Batwoman).
