Sarah Drew & Juan Pablo Di Pace Star In Branching Out On Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel has revealed details of an upcoming titled Branching Out. The movie tells the story of a single mother, hoping to build a family tree. She tracks down her daughter’s extended family and hopes to fill in all the missing pieces.

Branching Out on Hallmark Channel

According to Hallmark’s official synopsis, Amelia Weber (Sarah Drew) had a baby of her own 10 years ago. Now, Amelia’s charming daughter, Ruby (Cora Bella) is her everything. However, when Ruby gets a school assignment exploring heritage and creating family trees, she notices her family tree is very small.

Meanwhile, with the help of a DNA test, Amelia learns that Ruby’s father (Juan Pablo Di Pace) lives nearby.

Moreover, the endearing T.J. Cruz is a professional guitarist who hasn’t found success like he always dreamed. Amelia makes contact with him and to her surprise, T.J. wants to meet Ruby and suddenly, her family tree is spreading out.

T.J. has a huge family and as Amelia gets to know him, romance spouts when invited to take part in his family’s Mexican traditions. Along the way, Amelia’s protective instincts, both for herself and her daughter, are challenged, especially when T.J. gets the chance of a lifetime that might take him away.

With the help of an adorable little girl with a huge heart and a thousand questions, Amelia an T.J. soon discover that family trees can be complicated and wonderfully unique, especially when love is what binds everyone together.

Sarah Drew, who plays the role of Amelia Weber, is known for her role in Grey’s Anatomy and several Hallmark movies. Meanwhile, Amelia’s daughter, Ruby, is played by Cora Bella of Test Drive fame. The role of Ruby’s father, T.J. Cruz is played by Juan Pablo Di Pace who starred in Full House.

Candace Kirkpatrick (An Angelic Christmas) and Andrew Diaz (Andi Mack) also star in the movie in uncredited roles.

The new, original movie, Branching Out, comes from Hallmark Media with David Wulf producing and Jake Relic serving as co-producer. Moreover, the new movie is directed by Maclain Nelson from a script penned by Melissa Bustamante.
