Hallmark Channel has a treat in store for viewers, as Stephanie Leonidas and Raniero Monaco Di Lapio cook up A Very Venice Romance.

The movie was filmed entirely on set in Venice, Italy, with its beautiful buildings, Renaissance architecture and canals, and forms part of the network’s annual Fall Into Love programming event.

A Very Venice Romance on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Amy (Stephanie Leonidas) is an executive from New York City, trying to launch healthy deliverable meal prep kits with supplements.

Meanwhile, she needs the help of a chef to help guide the venture, and sets her sights on Italian chef Marcello (Raniero Monaco Di Lapio).

However, Marcello refuses to listen to Amy’s offer, so the determined Amy flies to Venice, Italy to sign up for his advanced cooking course, hoping to make her case in person.

Meanwhile, while there, she meets a number of charming and quirky tourists, while they learn to cook and travel the island.

Moreover, Marcello introduces Amy to the slower-paced pleasures of Italy. He goes on to reveal to her how the kits can be healthy by using fresh ingredients instead of supplements.

Amy’s boss isn’t convinced by this and she risks losing her job if she doesn’t stay on-brand. What will she do? Will Amy follow her instincts and her heart, or will she stay quiet to keep her job?

Stephanie Leonidas, who plays Amy, has previously starred in Defiance and Snatch. She leads opposite Raniero Monaco Di Lapio as Marcello and is known for his roles in Un passo dal cielo 2 and Rosy Abate.

According to the official IMDb page, other cast members include Max Kraus (The Witcher, The Princess) as Sage and JR Esposito (Barbarian, A Christmas Story Christmas) as Dr. Higgins. Meanwhile, Giovanni James Bertoia (Diabolik, L’alligatore) plays the role of Giorgio.
