Teaser Video For Hallmark’s Santa Tell Me With Erin Krakow & Daniel Lissing

It was reported in February 2024 that Daniel Lissing and Erin Krakow were to star in a Christmas movie together. Fast forward to now, and the movie is getting closer, with a teaser first look video released for fans.

This is something fans have looked forward to for a long time and we finally get to see the Hallmark couple in Santa Tell Me. Read on to find out what we know so far.

Erin Krakow & Daniel Lissing reunite in Santa Tell Me on Hallmark

Back in February, it was reported that When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing were to reunite for a new holiday movie. As we get closer to the Countdown for Christmas, we finally have a teaser trailer for the new film.

Hearties will recall that Daniel and Erin starred in leading roles in When Calls the Heart for five years. During that period, their characters, Elizabeth and Jack flirted, fell in Love and then enjoyed a spectacular wedding. However, as Lissing wanted to leave the show, his character, Jack, was tragically killed off. However, at that time, Elizabeth was already pregnant with their son, Little Jack.

Since that time, Hearties have been clamoring for the two mega Hallmark stars to reunite. Finally, Hallmark has listened and has even released a teaser trailer for the new movie.

What does the First Look Video show us?

On Sunday, June 23, Hallmark published a First Look Video for the upcoming movie, Santa Tell Me. It is clear that the movie is set in a big city, with a man and woman, played by Daniel Lissing and Erin Krakow, go to enter the door of an office building. As they do so, Santa approaches them, saying, “May I say you to make such a lovely couple.” The couple looked at each other, clearly puzzled.

However, the next scene reveals the two characters smiling at each other, with the snow falling around them. The video then shows them walking past Santa again. The man of the couple says, “Felt weird to correct him,” while Erin’s character responds, “I mean, he’s Santa. He’s supposed to know these things.” Watch the teaser trailer below:

Erin Krakow on the new movie Santa Tell Me

Erin Krakow spoke to TV Insider, and shared some insight into the film. She said their characters do have some similarities to their When Calls the Heart characters, saying:

When we first started Season 1 of When Calls The Heart, Jack and Elizabeth were very much oil and water, strong-headed individuals who just had a hard time seeing eye-to-eye, and there’s a lot of that in this Christmas movie.

Krakow added that it takes their characters some time to truly see and appreciate each other for what they really are. Meanwhile, thanks to Erin posting on Instagram, we know that her character is named Olivia, while he plays Chris.

When Is The Premiere Of Hallmark’s Santa Tell Me?

So far, an exact premiere date is unknown, but Santa Tell Me will air as part of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas 2024 and will premiere at some time in mid-October. Hallmark will likely announce the official schedule in September.
