The Chicken Sister star shares hilarious video of her stoned dog

Hallmark star Genevieve Angelson took to Instagram on April 9, 2025, to share a reel of her dog, Jack. Assuring us that no dogs were harmed in the making of the reel, it shows Angelson holding her “stoned out” dog, Jack, at a 24-hour veterinary hospital. He had reportedly had a wild night.
While in the midst of filming season 2 of The Chicken Sisters in Vancouver, Angelson had to rush Jack to the veterinary hospital after she captioned her reel “literally opened a drawer and ate through a bag, adding every kind of dimensional meaning to the term Snoop Dogg.”
She confirmed that Jack wasn’t harmed in the experience – just dazed and confused – despite looking bleary-eyed and barely able to hold up his head. Genevieve went on to assure her fans that “JACK IS 100% OKAY.”
The Chicken Sisters star said Jack must be hearing Pink Floyd in his head

Angelson, who has previously starred in several series, including The Handmaid’s Tale and New Amsterdam, currently stars in Hallmark’s The Chicken Sisters, and made the video to send to a friend while at the emergency vet with Jack. However, she decided that the reel was “too cinematic to keep to myself.”
In the clip that can be viewed here, she noted that it was 10:15 pm in Vancouver, saying, “I am about to leave the 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital.” She then panned the camera to show Jack in her lap, with his head leaning way back, clearly out of it.
While trying to stifle her laughter, Angelson explained, “Jack ate 20 milligrams of THC that he pulled out of a drawer, in a Ziploc bag, where I had three-and-a-half five-milligram sleep edibles. And now he’s being hospitalized, where he’s going to be hydrated, given charcoal, 35 bags of Doritos and he will be fine.”
While showing Jack’s lifeless body again, wrapped in a towel and staring into space, Genevieve laughed, adding, “But if I have to look at this — the most stoned thing that I have ever (seen). I have been sobbing for so long.”
When Jack suddenly popped his head up momentarily, Angelson joked, “Oh! Listening to Pink Floyd in there, bro?”
Meanwhile, Angelson can currently be seen in season 1 of The Chicken Sisters, that premiered on Hallmark+ on the fall. Moreover, the series is now airing on Hallmark Channel on Sunday nights at 9 pm ET.
