Stephanie’s ex-husband, Wes, comes to town to pack up their shared cabin.”

Joy, Cassie, and Abigail sit and have tea. Joy is staying for a while now that she has discovered she is a Meriwick. Later, Joy meets with Martha to start on the mansion redesign. Joy heads to meet Cassie. They are heading to an estate sale for a clock.

Martha meets with her famous publisher friend. She loves Martha’s stories and asks if she ever thought about writing a book. Meanwhile, Sam meets with a patient named Darrell and Adam. Adam’s friend has knee issues and needs rehab.

George heads out to meet an old military buddy named Harry. They haven’t seen one another in 40 years.

At the cafe, Stephanie is surprised when her ex-husband Wes shows up. They talk about the cabin they own. Wes wants to put it on the market. Just then Adam shows up and they all feel awkward.

At the estate sale, Joy finds just what she is looking for and then sees it is sold. Stephanie brings food to Martha’s where she is doing a photo shoot. She is already talking about a lunch party but has yet to write her book.

Joy tracks down the man who bought the clock. She wants to buy it from him but he isn’t selling until he realizes something is wrong with his truck when he heads to leave. Joy has an offer for him.

Sam meets with a patient who has a support dog. He promises Samantha will watch Lucky her dog. She starts to put him in the carrier but Lucky runs for it and ends up in Darrell’s room. It seems the two patients know one another. They used to be married, they tell Sam.

Adam questions Stephanie about the cabin. He seems a little jealous. She shares that she is going to meet her ex at the cabin so they can decide if they want to sell. Adam thinks the idea is ok. Martha interrupts them. She wants to know if they will write her a glowing burb for her novel she still hasn’t wrote yet.

Joy runs into the man who wouldn’t sell her the clock at the tavern. They exchange names. Meanwhile, Harry shows up to meet George at the cafe. They talk old times over pie. Back at the tavern, Joy challenges Carter to a game of darts.

Martha starts writing her novel but is having trouble. Sam and Adam enjoy coffee at the cafe. Adam tells Sam about Stephanie, her cabin, and her ex. Adam shares he is a little worried but he has no real problem with it.

Harry shares with George that he is sick. George wants to help. He needs a donor. At the tavern, Joy nearly wins when her dart falls to the floor after hitting bullseye. Carter smiles happily before leaving.

Stephanie and Wes talk about their marriage and how they were so young. Cassie and Abigail try to make Joy feel better. In the parking lot, she sees her truck is still there with a note from Carter. She bet it in the game but he didn’t take it.

Abigail cannot figure out her and Donovan’s song. He won’t give her any hints. George finds out that he isn’t a match for his friend Harry. Moments later however, Harry’s doctor calls and shares he found him a donor. Stephanie and Wes finish with the cabin and have a tough time saying goodbye.

Sam looks into emotional support dogs for the hospital. Cassie comes in to give him a gift, a new watch. Abby helps Donovan write a speech for the arts organization. On the computer, clues to their song come to her.

Sam visits with his female patient and Darrell, her ex. They have been talking. They comment on Sam’s watch. Darrell had one just like it before. They realize it’s Darrell’s watch. His ex gave it to him. They smile happily at one another.

Martha shares her novel with Cassie and Joy. She is embellishing in her book. They share their feelings and how she shouldn’t lie. Martha also learns that Joy is a Merriwick. She is thrilled.

George and Harry say goodbye. As thanks, Harry gives George his medal. Abigail has figured out her and Donovan’s song. They dance to it together.

Stephanie and Adam head to a movie. They talk about the cabin. She is selling. Adam admits he was a little jealous.

Sam comes home to Cassie. They talk about the watch. She gives his old one back to him. She had it fixed and engraved.
