TikToker Shocked When Referenced In Hallmark The Wedding Veil Inspiration

Currently, Hallmark Channel has been airing its second trilogy of The Wedding Veil movies to good effect. In fact, the first in the trilogy, Expectations, did very well. However, it turns out The Wedding Veil Inspiration made a reference to a popular TikToker. In fact, the TikToker, who uses the name Renduh on the platform, was thrilled about Hallmark highlighting her TikToks. However, on reflection, she revealed a huge problem.

TikToker gets referenced in The Wedding Veil Inspiration

As fans know, The Wedding Veil movies on Hallmark Channel are extremely popular. So much so, that the network has now released a second trilogy of the Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney and Autumn Reeser films.

Meanwhile, the TikTok platform has also been skyrocketing to fame since it first debuted in 2016. In fact, that platform covers every issue you could think of in its wide variety of content.

One funny note about the second in the trilogy, The Wedding Veil Inspiration, is that a popular TikToker found she is referenced in the movie. At first, Renduh was thrilled to find she was referenced in the movie – this obviously makes for great free advertising. However, she later noted a major problem in the scene referring to her TikToks.

TikToker notices glaring issue in the Hallmark movie

A TikToker by the name of Renduh recently discovered she was referenced in a Hallmark movie, but quickly realized a glaring issue. The creator is an appliance repair tech who shares tips and tricks with almost 700K followers on the social platform.

It was on January 18 that Renduh learned that Hallmark had referenced her TikTok content in the new movie. While this is obviously great one glaring issue came to mind. It turns out the clip Hallmark referenced is about the one time she shared incorrect information.

In her TikTok included below, Renduh shares a clip from the recent Hallmark movie, The Wedding Veil Inspiration. In the clip, the cast is talking about “everyone’s favorite appliance repair woman,” Renduh herself. They then went on to reference her dishwasher pods clip.

In the clip, Renduh says, “What? Holy sh*t they’re talking about me. And, they reference the one piece of information that I was incorrect about and then later corrected.”

The TikToker then addressed Hallmark, telling them the information they shared in the movie was wrong while thanking them for referencing her in the movie. Readers can watch the clip here:

The original TikTok was posted in 2022, where Renduh shared with her followers that it is better to put dishwasher detergent pods in the silverware caddy, rather than the built-in dispenser so it won’t get clogged up.

Meanwhile, weeks later, Renduh issued an update pointing out her mistake after finding out it is fine to put pods in the same place as the liquid detergent. However, she also noted that the movie script was likely written and filmed before she issued her correction.

Moreover, Renduh does jokingly suggest that should they release a third trilogy of The Wedding Veil, maybe they could correct the dishwasher information. Meanwhile, fans of the movies would no doubt love to catch up with their three favorite Hallmark ladies in another trilogy.
