According to TV Insider, when Celeste (Arthur) and Jason (Bazzocchi) meet, it’s love at first sight.  Both believed this was the love they had been waiting for. Meanwhile, after a whirlwind courtship, Celeste and Jason get engaged. Moreover, to make the wedding perfect, Celeste wants her father, Pastor Mike (Close) to officiate the wedding.

However, like many fathers, Celeste’s dad isn’t ready for his daughter to wed. Ashe pastor has seen many couples break up over the smallest things, he decides to delay the wedding. He suggests that the pair attend a pre-wedding boot camp. The boot camp offers Christmas-themed challenges to ensure the young couple is truly ready to commit to a life together.

Meanwhile, the tests Celeste and Jason go through make their relationship bond even stronger. Between them, there is no fighting, but a clear understanding of what they want out of their lives together. Moreover, Celeste is considering following her dreams in the fashion industry. As for Pastor Mark, he learns to trust his daughter’s choices, which leads to a heartwarming Christmas for the whole family.

Madeleine Arthur, who plays Celeste has previously starred in Big Eyes and Devil in Ohio, and Robert Bazzocchi, who plays the role of Jason, is known for his roles in Fellow Travelers and Gen V.

Celeste’s pastor father is played by Eric Close, who has previously been seen in Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday and A Christmas Love Story, and Kate Drummond plays Celeste’s mother and has starred in Heartland and Wynonna Earp.

According to IMDb, Richard Jutras (The Tournament and The Whole Nine Yards) also stars in an uncredited role.

When does To Have And To Holiday premiere on Hallmark Channel?

The new, original movie To Have and to Holiday premieres on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel as part of the popular Countdown to Christmas 2024. The movie will also stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
