February is all about what the heart desires (thanks to Valentine’s Day), and the Hallmark Channel is featuring Jane Austen-inspired flicks during the entire month of “Loveuary”!

More good news, as the channel is set to re-broadcast the popular Unleashing Mr. Darcy, the modern spin of Pride & Prejudice starring Ryan Paevey and Cindy Busby. The movie is a fan favorite, so if you have yet to see it, this is your chance to catch it.

Unleashing Mr. Darcy is based on the Teri Wilson novel (of the same name) and focuses on the main character, Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby) as she has to pivot with her job, after a career setback.

She enters the world of dog show competitions, showcasing her cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This is where she meets Donovan Darcy (Ryan Paevey), who seems rude and “privileged” at first, but a softer side emerges as they continue to have encounters.

The two fall in love, after some obstacles, of course; however, the flick is perfect for those who love a good romantic movie.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – When Is Hallmark Airing “Unleashing Mr. Darcy”?

It’s important to note, Unleashing Mr. Darly will air only once in February on Hallmark, with the date being Thursday, February 1 at 2 p.m., Eastern time.

Meanwhile, the sequel to the film, entitled Marrying Mr. Darcy will also air on the Hallmark Channel this month on Tuesday, February 20 at 2 p.m., Eastern time.

The second installment to the Mr. Darcy franchise takes place six months after fans last see Donovan and Elizabeth, and the couple is happily engaged.

Elizabeth wants a small wedding, while Mr. Darcy is interested in an elaborate event. This creates friction as she starts to feel overwhelmed, while he works extra hours to take his better half on a special honeymoon.

There’s friction between the two, which will have audiences wondering if they will make it to the altar, after all!
